This article is relevant to MacBook Air users using Google Drive File Stream and are prompted to allow the Google Inc. System Extension.
Below are the steps required to resolve this prompt:
1. When this notification is displayed, click 'Open System Preferences'
2. Next, click 'Open Security Preferences'
3. Make sure that the 'General' tab is selected and then click 'Allow'
4. Click on the Google Drive File Stream icon in the top right of your screen, the on the cog wheel and choose 'Quit':
5. Final step is to launch Google Drive File Stream from the Applications folder:
We found that in some cases steps 4 and 5 may need to be repeated, or you may need to restart your MacBook.
