Since the recent Google Chrome update, it has been brought to our attention that links to online documents may open as a 'blank page'.  This can be especially inconvenient when using SEQTA as the default document format is in PDF.

Current workaround (as of 26 Feb 2020) is to download the PDF documents instead of opening it within Google Chrome. Other browsers may also be affected - please contact the ICT department if you use Safari or Firefox.

Below are the steps to set up the workaround in Google Chrome version 80.x.x.x:

Step 1.

Check Google Chrome's version (update if required):

Step 2.

Change Google Chrome's PDF setting:

Select 'Preferences...' from the Chrome menu

Step 3 (optional).

Change Google Chrome's default download location:

Select 'Preferences...' from the Chrome menu

Once these settings are changed, you will be able to open the downloaded file from your preferred download location using your preferred PDF viewer (i.e. Apple's 'Preview', Adobe Acrobat Reader etc.)
