How to clean your electronic devices

Please use the provided cloth and keep in mind the following:

  • NEVER spray cleaners directly onto any electronic device.

  • Don’t wipe in circular motions. Wipe in horizontal and vertical directions.

  • Avoid excessive wiping, which might cause damage.

  • Unplug all external power sources, devices and cables.

  • Keep liquids away from the product, unless otherwise noted for specific products.

  • Don't get moisture into any openings (use a damp cloth, not wet).

  • Don't use aerosol sprays, bleaches or abrasives.

Is it OK to use a disinfectant on my electronic devices?

Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the hard, non-porous surfaces of your electronic device, such as the keyboard or other exterior surfaces.  This is also OK for cleaning iPad, iPods and iPhones.

To clean the MacBook and Chromebook display, it is best to wipe it with a slightly damp microfibre cloth (please use distilled water, NOT tap water).

It is OK to clean eBoards with a sanitising agent as long as it is not poured on the screen or too much on soft cloth which may end up dripping down and damage the bottom sensors.

Don't use bleach. Avoid getting moisture in any opening, and don't submerge your electronic device in any cleaning agents.
