Possible scenarios:                                                           

  • - Device shows a C-0202/0204/0206/0208 error
  • - Device is not feeding from Standard Trays 

  • - ‘Tray 1/2/3/4 cannot be used’ and needs to be disabled

  • - Noises coming from Standard Trays

Paper may be jammed behind tray 1 (C-0202), tray 2 (C-0204), tray 3 (C-0206) or tray 4 (C-0208) so follow these steps to check and/or remove jammed paper.                       

Firstly, open tray causing the error as far out as it will go. Locate the green tray locking latch on the left hand side of the tray at the machine end.


                                                

Slide the tray latch to the left side to release the tray lock.


                                                

Now, remove tray 1 completely. First remove any paper from tray 1 so its lighter to carry. Use two hands to remove the tray. The front of the tray needs to angle up towards you to be removed. Be patient and take care with this process.


                                                

With the tray completely removed, look into the void area behind the tray for any jammed paper and remove it.


                                                             

It is recommended to power cycle (reboot) the device after resolving any issues that have caused the tray not function. 

                   

Open the front cover of the device and switch the main power off. Leave for 10 seconds then switch back and close the front cover.
