Check Default Printer
The first is to check make sure that the correct printer is set as the default.
Press the Command key and the Spacebar to bring up the Spotlight Search and type in Printers & Scanners.
If you have multiple printers added to your computer, right click the dotmatrix and click Set default printer. You can still print to other printers if you want, just select a different printer when you go to print a document.
